South Shore Divorce Mediation is a division of Lynch & Owens, P.C. Lynch & Owens, P.C., its lawyers and non-attorney staff members are governed by the Massachusetts Rules of Professional Conduct promulgated by the Supreme Judicial Court for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, regarding all communications between attorney and client protected by the attorney-client privilege. This privilege extends to all persons who preliminarily contact us during the initial meeting phase regarding potential legal representation, even if such persons do not become clients of the firm. However, clients of South Shore Divorce Mediation who retain the Firm for mediation services do not receive legal advice, and our mediators are not acting as attorneys when providing mediation services.

Lynch & Owens, P.C. is governed by the requirements in the Code of Massachusetts Regulations regarding the protection of client data and by the provisions of its own comprehensive Written Information Security Plan (WISP) under 201 CMR 17.00, and also by the Guidelines for the Protection of Personal Identifying Data (PID) in Publicly Accessible Court Documents promulgated by the Supreme Judicial Court for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
